The Dutch Masters/ Plospan Horse bedding

The Dutch Masters 4 days of top-level jumping and dressage competitions. Highlights include the Rolex Grand Prix on Sunday afternoon and the FEI World Cup Dressage Freestyle on Saturday afternoon. For four days, the best riders from around the world will demonstrate their skills.

The event is one of the four top events that make up the prestigious Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping. Together with CHI Geneva, CSIO Spruce Meadows ‘Masters’ and CHIO Aachen, The Dutch Masters is among the absolute world top. This event attracts more than 63,000 visitors every year.

Traditionally, ‘international jumping’ is on the program on Friday evening. Every edition is another exciting competition where a show jumping competition is held against the time clock. A fantastic opportunity to speak to each other again and enjoy the absolute world top in equestrian sports.

Better Biomass certified: RED & RCVB

Better Biomass

Better Biomass is an international certification system for solid, liquid and gaseous biomass. The Better Biomass certificate is used to demonstrate the sustainability of biomass for energy, fuels and bio-based products. The underlying sustainability criteria have been set up by a broadly composed working group with representatives of market parties, government and social organizations, and published in the NTA 8080 standard. The criteria contain important values ​​for nature, the environment and society (People, Planet, Profit).

Better Biomass is managed by NEN, the Dutch Standardization Institute, member of CEN and ISO. NEN is internationally accredited as a scheme manager and certification audits are carried out by independent, accredited certification bodies (CBs).

In March 2024, Plospan obtained the RCVB (regulation for conformity assessment of solid biomass for energy applications) extension of the RED certificate.

In addition to the RCVB certificate, Plospan also has the RED (Directive (EU) 2018/2001 (successor to Directive 2009/28/EC)) certificate.

Plospan Bioenergy B.V. officially accepted for the BSL in the UK.

As from today, Plospan Bioenergy B.V. has been officially accepted by the British government as a supplier. BSL (Biomass Suppliers List) UK ensures that all imports of wood pellets and related biomass to the UK comply with strict environmental requirements. This means that the production process, transport and raw materials must remain within set parameters (minimum CO2 emissions). Raw materials must demonstrably originate from controlled felling. The most important issue here is the fact that more new trees are being planted than are being felled.
