This is year is already the third year that we will be attending this international, prestigious competition. Plospan supplies the horse bedding for the world’s top 98 horses who will display their superlative qualities at this fantastic event. In addition, Plospan has a stand at the trade fair where we will be welcoming our international business clients. As early as 7 March, we shipped 2 large containers of high-grade wood fibre to ensure its timely arrival: the Global Champions Tour show jumpers will want for nothing during their stay in Shanghai.
A thrilling contest for the pole position.
Shanghai is the fourth venue of the Longines Global Champions Tour (LGCT), following Miami, Mexico and Antwerp and will soon play host to the entire international show-jumping elite. At present, after three competitions, Christian Ahlmann from Germany is leading the LGCT, with John Whitacker from the UK and Italian national Emanuele Gaudiano following at his heels. Harrie Smolders, in ninth place after three competitions, is the highest ranking Dutchman and performed particularly well in the two most recent competitions. Hopefully, Harrie can continue to hone his performance and advance a few places in the overall rankings.
Plospan is a frequent exhibitor at LGCT
In total, there are fifteen international competitions that count towards the rankings for the Global Champions Tour. The final competition will be held in Doha, Qatar in November. Plospan will also be represented at this year´s international competition in Valkenswaard.
